The Beauty Found In Being Authentic

Connecting with the passion of Christ in us is the eternal beauty of the Lord people are purposed to connect to. This beauty is where our authentic identity becomes known and embraced in our everyday living. When we are in our joy, our authentic beauty will attract people to join in and experience the beauty of wholeness. Nehemiah 8:10 tells us the joy of the Lord is our strength. It is this joy that has set us free to walk in the eternal beauty and liberty of our faith. It is this joy that has redeemed us to make us whole in mind, spirit, soul and body.

Discovering our joy starts with pursuing the truth that sets us free to live in our joy (John 8:32). Spending time in the word of God reveals our joy, strengthens our joy, increases our joy and our desire to be who God has graced us to be. When God is the center of our joy, He will open our heart and the hearts of those around us who need to be strengthened by our joy. The parable of the talents talks about two faithful servants who entered the joy of the Lord where they were made rulers over many things (Matthew 25:14-30). God desires us to enter His joy because it is His presence of grace and truth.

Our true identity in Christ is where the joy of the Lord lives. Our authentic identity in Christ is where the presence of the Lord resides. Anything God is telling us to let go of, will not strengthen His presence in our life that is our strength to succeed in life. Let the joy of the Lord be our consuming passion and desire freeing us to be our authentic self. When we become authentic, we will live authentically and attract authentic blessings in our lifestyle; because life does not happen to us, life flows from us (Proverbs 4:23).
