True Love is intentional because God is intentional. There is no way His love will fail us. When we commit the desires of our heart to God, even our mistakes, weaknesses and life challenges work for our good. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established. Our thoughts reveal our heart (Proverbs 23:7). God wants to fill our heart with His love so our heart will think higher and heavenly like His heart (Isaiah 55:8-9). God desires to have a heart to heart relationship with us to strengthen the thoughts of our heart in His power, love and sound mind. Proverbs 16:9 tells us a man’s heart plans His way, but the Lord directs His steps. This verse reveals just how intentional God’s love is for us.
Naturally the heart is evil and desperately wicked, however when we decide to commit our works to God His grace has the power to abound more than a sinful heart. His grace is His true love towards us. His grace and truth heals and restores our broken heart to include mind, soul and body. When we allow His grace and truth to heal our broken heart, all that we experience because of our brokenness will be used by God to work for our good because His love is intentional. Not only is His love intentional, His love keeps no records of wrongs because His love always believes. His love always believes and desires the best for us (Jeremiah 29:11). God’s best is His love in us directing our mind, spirit, soul and body to be a living vessel who fruitfully multiplies the image and likeness of His power, love and sound mind in our sphere of influence.
Psalms 51:17 tells us:
the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
His living and powerful word tells us in Proverbs 4:23 to “keep our heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life”. Our heart is the garden where life or death will be multiplied based on what we allow in our heart. God put Adam in the garden of Eden to keep and tend it (Genesis 2:15). The garden of Eden is the heart of God where all blessings flow. God wants our heart to return to His garden of Eden where our hearts where walking harmoniously with His heart. This is when He can manifest the impossible in our life and we enter the promise land of His presence and abundant blessings.
The more we intentionally protect our heart with the living and powerful word of God by meditating on His word day and night (Psalms 1); we are intentionally walking by faith back to the Lover and Redeemer of our soul (Isaiah 43:1-21). He knows the intents and thoughts of our heart; only He has the power to heal and restore what is lacking and broken in our lives that are a reflection of our heart. His living and powerful word is His eternal love towards us (John 3:16).
When we meditate on His word day and night, His word covers our heart. When His love covers our heart, it covers a multitude of sins and cleanses our heart. This cleansing frees our heart to be one with His heart where we are empowered to give His love to a perishing world because His love regenerated our heart in the image and likeness of His heart that is full of power, love and peace. If you are lacking peace, if you are lacking love, if you are lacking power, intentionally run to His presence where there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. God wants to wrap His arms around you and kiss you with His abundant blessings (Luke 15:11-32).
I welcome you to connect with a VWLN Life Empowerment Group where we help to inspire, empower and equip your walk by faith as God’s living and powerful word ministers to your mind, spirit, soul and body. This is where your heart is transformed to become one with His heart and His presence is fruitfully multiplied throughout the earth because it has become fruitfully multiplied in you.
